Does your investment property meet the Healthy Homes standards?

The Healthy Homes legislation came into effect on 1st July 2021.  A tenancy cannot commence unless the property meets the standards.

Your rental property must meet the minimum requirements in several areas including…

  • Heating
  • Insulation
  • Ventilation
  • Moisture Ingress
  • Draught Stopping

The requirements are technical and require a professional to complete and sign off.  We use a few different healthy homes assessors and have contractors that can complete the remediation work required if your property does not meet the standards.
